Joe Smith was also involved in the payola scandals.  Bob Clayton was 
known for his squeaky-clean reputation and seemed to suffer no 
consequences.  Mac Richmond and Mel Miller of WMEX were caught up in the 
payola story too.  But Maynard's situation has always mystified me, as 
by all accounts, he took more gifts & cash than most of the others, yet 
nothing seemed to happen to him as a result.
