Interestingly, his numbers kicked off well and have sustained (accd. to 
reports).  Sure, it's hokey, he's hokey, but the Little Rockers band, 
the studio audience, the two on one he opens with are a decent viewing 
alternative on a Saturday night. <harp sfx> Sadly, the days of 
Emergency, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, and Carol Burnett are long gone!
