WMEX-FM is saying good-bye

These days it is tough to say "live" with 100% uncertainty, but I would say
yes, as he kept saying stuff like "this is the last time you will hear this
classic on WMEX, as Monday at 10 AM, we will go off the air".  He did not
sound like he was voice tracking.

Gary James was live? Are you sure it was him live and not pre-recorded or
someone else from the station like their General Sales Manager Gene Valle?

I had heard Gary was no longer at the station

 

Anyways, WMEX was sold and is picking up the KLove satelitte format next
week.
