And speaking of sports talk radio, ESPN Boston (890/1400) apparently wants to steal
WEEI/WRKO's thunder by airing a Red Sox pregame show of their own:

According to BostonSportsMedia.com, the station(s) will debut "The Boston
Baseball Pregame Show" weeknights from 6-7 pm, with host Kevin Winter.
Peter Gammons may also be taking part. Even though the games won't be on
ESPN Boston, they will have their own pregame show. (And for the record,
ESPN Boston will have some MLB ballgames on: ESPN's game of the week,
All Star Game, and playoffs.)
