Well, idle speculation--and hope for me, as WEEI
on FM 93.7 would come in superbly at my workplace!
But you're right, they probably wouldn't change...
maybe a slight tweak of format...
 
You're also right in that sports on 850 is maximizing
that frequency and a shift to FM would mean they'd
need something for 850, and what they have now
with sports is probably their best bet for
that freq.
