The phone number was 969-8989, which in those days was WOodward 9 8989.
Mayer did the show from the basement of his house, which I understand
was in
the Oak Hill section of Newton, not far from the WVOM/WBOS (AM)/WUNR
transmitter on SawMill Brook Parkway.
