What is even more unusual is someone going on a buying spree of small AMs
with limited sticks (which is what most of Route 81's purchases are). The
reason the PA stations were up for sale is none of them add to Citadel's
bottom line. All either are simulcasts or running bird-feed programming.
Also, Citadel has had a bad track record running those properties
(especially the Scranton ones) and was eager to unload itself of them ASAP.

Rumors are there may be some type of regional news-talk network across
eastern and central Pennsylvania, based out of WCOJ West Chester, though I
don't know how true that is.
