WJUL/SUN contract point

On the second page of the contract, found at http://www.savewjul.org/PAGE2.gif
under "Advertising" the contract states:

"In the event that the SUN assists the UNIVERSITY to sell underwriting packages
for WJUL programs other than the Morning Show, gross revenues will be divided
with 60% inuring to the UNIVERSITY and 40% to the SUN."

There's no mention of "Lowell Community Broadcasters" the non-profit spin-off by
the SUN.

Second, when did underwriting yield gross revenue?

WJUL has never, ever relied upon underwriting for its support. It has always
been so lean that the total operations costs were borne by a miniscule portion
of each student's Student Activity Fee. So, the SUN, being handed the Morning
Show (Lowell Sunrise) will now be able to sell "underwriting" for its own
revenue benefit for dayparts OUTSIDE of the contracted daypart.

This is gonna be interesting.
