WSNH Is Still WOTW, Simulcast on WGAW...I'm Confused
Caught the 2PM top of hour ID on 900 Nashua. Starts with clearly spoken "WGAW
Gardner", then the Drake drumroll with the buried "WOTW Nashua" followed
by "Spirit 900, Nashua, Manchester, Andover, Chelmsford". So the WSNH calls
aren't the new legal calls just yet, even though they've been using them during
the hour. And it appears that for now at least, the folks in Gardner can
catch "The Spirit" at 1340. I wonder what will WGAW do once the FCC approves
the sale of WOTW/WSNH? Last time I rode by the WGAW studio/transmitter building
last Fall, the building looked like it was in need of some work. Is there any
functioning studio equipment inside I wonder?
And for what it's worth, WOTW did carry an hour of "The O'Reilly Factor" from
12 Noon to 1PM, then went back to the oldies.
