Have you ever considered how reliant the radio and TV industries are on automobile advertising, and yet you hold back?  I know they always point out that a significant 
portion of a new car's value vanishes when you drive it off the lot...
but  I think it's a wash if you keep a car a long time, drive
in a rational manner, do regular upkeep and if possible, 
keep it in a nice warm garage.
Well, if you won't support radio and TV with an automotive
purchase, at least I hope you buy plenty of Gold Bond
Medicated Powder and Ovaltine
