Frequency response-wise maybe, but those cheap sound cards have a pretty
low signal to noise ratio.  Some clip and distort badly.  Maybe a high end
Soundblaster, but I don't think I'd use anything less.  I have a SB Live
in my home computer...it's OK, but still pretty noisy.
