WFVX Bangor's Fox 22

Just checked out the new WFVX Fox 22 for Bangor.  This came on the air
all of a sudden this morning. I just happened to see an ad for it last
night during Nightline on WVII ABC-7.
It is now on Adelphia's Cable Channel 10, displacing WCKD-LPTV30's UPN
programming.

I checked out the FCC Website Database, and sure enough, WFVX is a real
LPTV, licensed to MS Communications of Los Angeles. It operates on UHF
Channel 22 with a CP for 2 KW effective April 14, 2003. It was
previously a flea-powered 7 watt LPTV W22BU.  Looks like the transmitter
is probably located  on top of Black Cap Mountain in East Eddington, as
the co-ordinates are all within a couple seconds of the WVII Tower.

As Jeremy mentioned, they have displaced WCKD's UPN programming on Cable
Channel 10, but WSBK38 Boston is still on Cable Channel 11 with UPN.

Wonder what will happen to WCKD ??
