I think CBS was the first to actually explain what was going on.  The CBS
Pentagon reporter came on immediately after the explosion to report that it
was a cruise missile attack on a target of opportunity in Baghdad.  He
apparently was tipped off before the attack.  I heard the same info on CNN
and NBC about 10 minutes later.
