Not quite...the license remains yours even after death (no FCC permission 
needed! :-)  it does not pass on to your estate...by which I mean your 
executor cannot do anything with it.   Until, of course, they file for 
involuntary transfer of assignment.   Then the executor (be it a person or 
corporation) will hold the license and can do with it as they please 
(within the usual restrictions, of course), including transferring it again 
to somebody else.
