The following from today's All Access seems to dash your hopes:

"If the sources are right, WNEW is planning an "Entertainment/Lifestyle"
format, with news and features from the world of pop culture in the manner
of E! ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION, MTV's news segments, or "ENTERTAINMENT
TONIGHT." The music will be dropped in between the entertainment features."
