RE: BBC cutting news jobs



I realize that they don't carry commercial product.  Their "product" is
essentially a PR device for the UK.

The BBC World Service is not a domestic broadcasting service.  Their
primary listening area is the world.  They are not promoting any
services, nor do they carry any advertising.  They exist to be Great
Britain's voice to the world.  They are also one of, if not the best,
most un-biased news source in the world.
