NOS is the abbreviation for Nostalgia also known as AS or adult standards. 
Hmm... nowadays "adult" (as an adjective) is the generally accepted politically 
correct synonym for "salacious." However, adult standards music is a perfect 
example of a subject in which the now generally accepted meaning of a word is 
about as far from the intended meaning as one can imagine. The music makes 
liberal use of euphemisms to express nearly all ideas related to "adult" 
activities.
