Two items of Maine Broadcasting News



The Portland Press Herald reports today that Don Carrigan will leave his
position as executive producer for public affairs at Maine PBS in February.
Carrigan is also the host of the weekly MaineWatch program on Maine PBS.
Carrigan will become a reporter for WCSH and WLBZ, covering the midcoast
region where he lives.  Carrigan has been at Maine PBS since 1994.  Before
that, he worked briefly for Maine Senator Bill Cohen and before that was a
reporter and anchor for WLBZ for 18 years.

Former Maine Governor Angus King was the long-time host of MaineWatch before
going into politics.  With Carrigan's departure, maybe he'll get his old job
back.

Dr. David Glusker, the long-time minister of the First Radio Parish Church
of America, will step down from that position in July.  The First Radio
Parish Church of America produces a 3 minute broadcast that is seen each
morning on WLBZ and WCSH and a weekly program that is heard on six radio
