Frank Teas Retires From WSMN Nashua NH
The Nashua NH Telegraph reports that Frank Teas has retired from WSMN
(1590 Nashua) after 43 years at the station. The 73 year old Teas broadcast
High School Basketball games with the late Ed Lecieus Sr. in the 60's &
70's. He also hosted WSMN's weekly "Nashua Top 10 Hits Countdown show" on
Saturday mornings for several years from the now-defunct W.T.Grant
department store in Downtown Nashua. He also hosted numerous remotes over
the years on the station. In recent years, Teas' voice was mostly heard on
many of the station's local commercials.
The article noted that in the 43 years that Teas spent at WSMN, he lasted
through 4 ownership changes and approximately 300 employees came and went
during his tenure.
