Frank Mills' "Music Box Dancer" was given its first significant air-play on Ottawa's 
CFRA 580 by the legendary Dave "50,000" Watts.  To this day, Frank remembers 
Dave's importance in his career, with annual invites to spend a week or 2 down at his 
Bahamas estate.  Dave still does some freelance work in Canada's Capital, but is 
primarily involved now with Terra Choice Environmental Services.

I wonder how many other musicians tend to remember the radio people who might 
have helped launch their careers...perhaps Donna Halper can share some insights in 
that regard.
