In 1952, was our country as litiguous as it is now? No? The way I understood
it, everyone in Boston wasn't too worried about the Braves leaving, they
were confident another NL team would come here shortly. And I also believe
that, at the time, WNAC (1260) was airing some games for both the Sox and
Braves...the Braves ditching town probably didn't matter too much to them,
as they could just add more Sox games?

I believe there was also a lawsuit when the Seattle Pilots bailed for
Milwaukee.
