FCC To Hold Hearings On Ownership Limits

According to Anthony Silva on WBZ's Business Hour (Thursday 9/12/02), the FCC will soon be holding hearings to review rules on ownership limits.  Per the people interviewed, the current limits are much too restrictve, "decades old" and based on a world where Cable, Internet and Satellite Radio didn't exist.  In a CBS piece, Colin Powell's son tried to be neutral sounding, but his pro-broadcaster leaning came shining through.  Many references were made to "Consumer Advocacy Groups" that want the tide reversed, but none were named, none were directly quoted and none were apparently allowed to speak.  Very biased, unprofessional newspiece from CBS.
