I recall something like that happening with New Hampshire broadcasters
(at least the ones on the Seacoast)
a few years back when closure of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard was
threatened.  Even more so than with Hershey, it's not a case where the
base was a big advertiser...it's a case where the facility put a lot of
money into the local economy.
