Well, that's it. I'm going to have a good talk with my fact-checker!
(Hello?) I did check in throughout the day to verify WTPL's current
weekday schedule but relied on memory for the lineup of sports (of which
I am not a regular listener, you might gather). Now that you mention
it, I remember that Motor Racing Network's NASCAR races went to the
country station when the original WKXL-FM became WOTX, but didn't MRN
features like Ned Jarrett's World of Racing stay on WKXL? As for the
Bruins, they were a staple of WKXL programming for many years but yes,
it's been a few years since they were there.

Since writing about the new lineup on WKXL (1450 Concord NH) I have
heard separately from both gentlemen responsible for the Bailey/Stevens
& Company morning show. Dave Stevens notes:

> Our new web address is WKXL1450.com. While we own the WKXLradio.com site we haven't
> modified it (been a little busy) to go to the new one.

Both gentlemen note the new venture is a work in progress and already
I've heard changes. This morning it was a relief to hear two distinct
recordings of the weather forecast being rotated. I also have heard
reports from ABC correspondents used in some of the newscasts; that's
one way to address the issue of having more voices on the show but it's
odd to have a couple national items dropped into what was otherwise a
New Hampshire newscast. A couple new network features have shown up to
fill out some half-hour segments: Kim Komando and Today in History (the
History Channel version). Warren Bailey promises "more folks to join
the team."

Also noted: new sweepers and ID.   Last week it was "The All New 1450";
now it's "Newsradio 1450." Golly, that was only a few weeks of being
"All New"--apparently WKXL won't be following the old WMEX model of
always being new.
