WCAP Afternoon Live Special This Friday

   For those on the list within the WCAP (980 Lowell) listening area who can
tune in this Friday, from 4-7 PM "Afternoon Live" co-host/ WCAP OM Ryan
Johnston is putting together a special show to celebrate the 50th birthday
of his co-host/ "Saturday Night Sock Hop"/ Production Director/ BRI list
member Gary Francis. Ryan has plenty of surprises planned, including special
guests in studio and via phone. Ryan asked me to inform all on the list and
to invite anyone on the list who wants to call in and say HI to Gary on his
birthday celebration. (His birthday is actually on Saturday). Best times to

   Also, Gary announced on today's "Afternoon Live" show that this Saturday
night will be the final edition ever of his "Saturday Night Sock Hop". Gary
says that next year, if he returns to Summer Saturday nights, he will do
something different, as he feels the sock hop concept has run it's course.
The show airs from 6-9PM Saturday.
