Re: Bridgeport hockey on New Haven station



Most likely, WAVZ is listenable at night in Bridgeport, 
although it would be real helpful if the coastline were 
concave to the north rather than convex to the south ;>) 
As long as the signal travels over a salt water path or 
hugs the coastline, it should travel fairly well. Also, 
the principal interfering signal is WJFK Baltimore. 
Since that station relocated its transmitter 20 or 25 
years ago, what had been a legendary signal has become a 
very mediocre one.
