Plus I have to admit I like being able to glance at my
watch and know that a break is coming in exactly 2
minutes and 14 seconds :-)<<
i'm like you, and Dan, in this regard. my watch is
pretty steady for a 12 dollar Timex, and i do reset it
for the second or three it gains every few weeks.
however, the last time i checked, most of Maine does not
rely on WBLM for their painstaking accuracy in time
keeping, or lack thereof. ;-)
and yeah, Dan raised a valid point about the Patriots.
but i'm sure the first time they miss the opening
network commercial avail, the clock will be fixed. and
to be safe, most radio networks give countdowns that
start many, many minutes before airtime to give all of
the various affiliates a chance to sync their clocks.
