Now that my sarcasm has been vented...

so what's the big deal about giving the time three 
minutes fast?  is there a law we missed somewhere?  

your radio background should include the memory of 
giving time-checks only at :06, :21, :36, and :51... 
the six-minutes-gets-you-the-quarter-hour thing...  and 
never, ever give the time or temp when it's the dial 
position of your competition.  (i'd be willing to bet 
that the WRKO studio digital clocks jump from 10:29 to 
10:31)

maybe there's a reason behind the time thing.  a method 
to their madness, so to speak.

or maybe it was your watch/clock that was 3 minutes 
slow?
