Me too-- it was fun talking about radio in the 50s...  and thanks to Mark 
for calling in as well; and no I am not Alice Brannigan, and as I was told, 
she was the girlfriend of PopCom's original editor... anyway, what is 
amazing to me about WCAP is that whether or not you like the station's 
programming, the fact that it is run by an 88 year old guy who comes to 
work every day is quite a story-- Maurice Cohen just might be the oldest 
owner out there, and certainly the oldest actively involved owner.  And one 
person I didn't mention but meant to was the late Hugh Anthony (Ugo San 
Antonio) who started as the station's first PD... My thanks to Gary for 
having me on his show.   I wish more stations out there had local 
programming-- I believe listeners DO want some local content...
