Ira -- I agree that the joke was not funny.  However,
I find CNN's actions of putting the call on the air
much more troubling than the call being made.  There
will always be idiots making prank calls, but I would
hope that the people who bring us the news can tell a
prank from the real thing.  CNN putting such callers
on the air shows, once again, that getting things
first is more important than getting things right.  If
I was in charge at CNN, there would be people looking
for work today.
