Fwd: Re: Very Unusual Commercial Airing Currently on WBZ-AM
One recurring message on LTAR has been the disappearance of the PSA
from major media outlets. Even when they seem to have time available,
they fill it with station promotions, or guys with gravelly
voices saying "Coming at you With 50,000 Watts" (except it's
more if you're nnw of Hull, less if you're on the Cape of Cod);
paid commercials with messages of the nature we're discussing
may be the only way these folks can be heard.

Why? Is a station endorsing every business which they
allow to advertise? Why should political ads be held
to a different standard than all other ads?
