As a former WMBR staffer myself, I can agree with that. A person could
easily go from valued station member to pariah with a change of regime. I
never got involved with station politics, but it did verge on mob rule at
times.

The station has never been particularly open to programming produced
outside...even non-MIT students are often regarded as a necessary evil than
as any sort of benefit. The Pacifica news block came along after I'd left,
and I personally have no use for their leftist views but I suppose it plays
well in the Peoples' Republic of Cambridge.
