I imagine it's only a matter of time before some company starts withhold 
employee money with or without the employees' consent* and the employees 
get miffed enough by the idea of their paycheck going to support things 
they don't necessarily agree with...and you'll see a nice high-profile 1st 
amendment lawsuit.  Well, perhaps not a First Amendment but a lawsuit 
certainly.

* means that it might be "voluntary" in that it's "voluntary" for the 
employee to work there in the first place, if you know what I mean.  Sort 
of like how anyone can be critical of WBUR's management, just don't expect 
to ever set foot in the station again if you do.
