WBZ (-AM) Tweaking Early Mornings?

I've noticed for the last week or so that Gary LaPierre hasn't been
starting until 6am, while the rest of the full service morning 'cast has
retained a 5am start.  The first couple of times I thought that he might
have been late/delayed, but now it appears to be format intentional.
Is he begining an incremental ride off to pasture (voluntary or
otherwise)--or have I just been listening to too much conspiracy theory
talk radio?  P=)
