Actually, that would be the Chesapeake and Potomac *Telephone* Company
-- from back in the days when AT&T operated broadcast stations itself.
According to T.H. White, WCAP shared time with WRC until 1926, when
RCA purchased the AT&T stations (WEAF in New York and WCAP in
Washington).  WCAP was merged into WRC and its license deleted.
