WROR (was Re: WZLX)

Is WROR trying to edge closer to WZLX's sound? They
call themselves greatest hits of 60s and 70s but if
you aren't watching, they throw an 80s tune in
("Centerfold" by J. Geils, and last night they were
playing a Journey song that was probably from
the 80s, too). Heard a deep album cut by the Stones
last night.

They seem to be doing "the music you grew up with"
but their focus seems tilted toward classic rock--
not the real heavy stuff, but no "soft rock", either.
Now, I don't know if CBS/Infinity has the term
copyrighted or anything, but I wonder if they oughta
call themselves by the name WZLX once used: "Classic
Hits".

Imagine: "Classic Hits 105.7...WROR"
Or maybe they could go ahead and cherrypick some more
80s tunes and say "the greatest hits of the 60s,
70s, and 80s". Pretenders, Phil Collins, Genesis, U2,
the Police... But maybe they don't want to be a total
clone of 'ZLX. Still, they seem to be mining for a
bit of the 'ZLX audience as well as the 'ODS
audience...
