Back in Summer of 1991, I worked in creative production at WKBO (1230, 
Harrisburg PA), where they ran a 24/7 news station, with CNN Headline news 
for the first and third quarters of the hour, and local news content 
during the second and fourth quarters. It was well done, in my memory, and 
was pulled not from any audio-specific feed, but from the regular TV feed. 
It probably helped that HN was not available via Sammons Cable in 
Harrisburg at the time...

It pulled pretty good ratings for a 480W AM station on a local channel (it
helped that the tower was in the middle of the Susquehanna River, on the
southern end of City Island)...
