I wish they could have found some other frequency, because the
Newburyport signal on 91.7 won't solve WUMB problems in Swampscott,
which is where I have family -- and one relative in particular who
curses your station every time he wants to hear folk music:) But the
educational band is packed in the Boston area and I guess no other
channel was allocated to Newburyport.

I wonder if WNEF will solve the WUMB problem in Beverly.

I believe an earlier posting on the WUMB site indicated that WNEF would
simulcast WUMB 100 percent.
