Speaking of WNSH...

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I took a field trip to a real field, the soccer field at Endicott Junior
College in Beverly to scope the WNSH transmitter/antenna complex. Based on the "official" FCC info,
I expected to see at least a two-tower array for the current licensed operation: 500 watts DA-D with
two towers. Instead there was but one tower, with a "hat" just like the one in South Hamilton. Then
yesterday, Mike Thomas wrote that he works at least part-time for WNSH. Maybe he could answer
one question about the station's operation: is it currently operating with facilities that don't reflect
its license temporarily? What IS the power output...it seems weaker than 500 watts would generate
even at 1570? (OK that's two questions).  The stick is on a little promontory surrounded by gullies;
how did the riggers get there? (OK that's three questions.)
One inquiring mind would like to know.
