On today's "On the Media" broadcast in Boston on WBUR, there is a 
discussion of the tabloid press.  One person interviewed is Danny Shecter(sp?)
formerly of WBCN-FM back in the early 70s I believe.  (I occasionally
heard his ruminations in those days.)
BTW, I heard the show on WEVO-FM in NH...I tape the first 30 minutes 
while listening to LTAR and then listen in WEVO-time from 11:30 to
noon.  The Schecter interview is during this period.  There is occasional
satellite drop-off, at least during the WEVO feed...maybe it'll be ok on WBUR.
