It Takes Two To Fill In For One

  Watching tonight's 6PM news on WCVB (Channel 5), where Natalie Jacobson
anchors solo. Tonight she had the night off, and Anthony Everett and Liz
Bruner were both filling in for Natalie.Liz was alongside Anthony at 5PM,
where Natalie usually co-anchors. Just curious as to why it takes two folks
to fill in for Natalie when she goes solo at 6 anyway. My girlfriend's
opinion is that it's to do with ratings. Or is it a matter of showcasing the
5PM team so folks can be ready when Natalie decides to hang it up sometime
down the road.
