Steve Fredericks was a news guy at WMEX/1510 in the late 60's. He took ove the 10PM talk show when Jerry Williams left, but he also did recorded sports on the morning show ("I'm Steve Fredericks inside the WMEX sports book". Sounded like a bookie when he said that. I recall him announcing in September 1967 that the Red Sox might actually win the pennant.
