Actually WBCS and WKLB were both owned by Greater Media at the time of the switchover. IIRC, GM had already obtained the ROR calls and were holding them for the format change. GM never really "pulled the plug" on Country 99.5 they just changed call letters. Doyle joined L&W for the simulcast (for a week or so when Addams started @ Magic, I think) then L&W went on a 2-3 day break as they prepared for the format change and new call letters at 105.7, either just before or just after Labor Day.
