Why should they add alleged? Does anyone deny that the 19 people pictured
in today's papers were the perpetrators of the September 11th attack? It is
one thing to add "alleged" to a report on someone standing trial, but there
will be no trials of the people on the planes, for obvious reasons. Is John
Wilkes Boothe still the "alleged" assassin of Lincoln because he was never
convicted?
