I would say: terrorism and call the persons who did it "alleged
terrorists" or "terrorist suspects."  That way I protect myself from any
wrongful defamation lawsuits.

Correct me if I'm wrong please.  Then again, I've been out of the
newspaper writing thing for over 2 years....
