You are correct, but that was when he was in high school in Missouri.  He
dropped out of college and left Missouri.  His dad didn't get him jobs in
Pittsburgh and Kansas City.  He was fired from a few radio jobs and was
making less than $20K as a marketing guy with the Kansas City Royals before
becoming a talk show host.  I never claimed that Rush was on welfare, but he
did struggle as an adult to get ahead.  I have never heard that Rush's
family subsidized his lifestyle.  Just because his family had money does not
mean he looked to them to pay his bills.  Rush got to where he is because
people like his show not because his dad once owned a radio station in a
small city in Missouri.
