Bob Nelson mentioned Mocedades' "Eres Tu," surmising tongue-in-cheekly
that oldies stations today ignore it because it was sung in Spanish.
However, Mocedades also recorded the song in English, calling it,
puzzlingly, "Touch the Wind," which is nowhere near the literal
translation of the title. Anyway, I was in Syracuse at the time it was a
hit, and recall Top 40 WOLF playing "Touch the Wind," while AC WHEN
played "Eres Tu."
