There are also certain "grandfathered" exceptions, and there are also provisions
for established "antenna farms", although painting and lighting in these
situations seems to be looked at on a case by case basis if they fall into the
category where they require a study by the FAA.

All this makes it kind of hard to nail down, just by looking, what a tower's
requirements would be.
