This, of course, is the same principle which a lot of religious programming operates on the air. They spend money for the air time, they get people into their churches, temples, etc., who put money into the collection plate.

As well as starting up the news service and the TV network. I am guessing he must be somewhat concerned with profit on 1130, though, seeing he's turned to more of a hard news format in the past year.
