WICE was owned by Pawtucket-based AAA Entertainment which is run by
its chairman and CEO Peter Ottmar who used to run
Back Bay Brdcst. He also owns mostly FM stations in
New London,CT, Peoria,Il, Champaign, Il and Long Island.
Last year, he made some noise in LI radio, when his company
pretty much monoplized the FM radio dial in the Hamptons
by acquiring WBAZ-FM 101.7FM, WBSQ-FM 102.5FM, WBEA-FM 104.7FM,
WEHM-FM 96.7 and leaving WLNG-FM 92.1FM as the only stand-alone FM
serving the East End....  

Disney which bought AM 1450 with the rest of Hibernia's
RD affils last summer is now selling that station
to Add Media.
